Marie Auer-Labonté, Member of the Executive Council

Marie Auer-Labonté was a member of the Board between 2010 and 2012. As a former intern with Alternatives, Marie had the opportunity to help with the advancement of projects in Venezuela and Egypt. In May 2009 she joined a delegation to Palestine and Israel and in 2010 participated in the World Education Forum at Ramallah, Palestine. Through her studies in the field of Political Sciences and International Development, she has gained an analytic perspective as well as expertise in the establishment of projects. For the last few years she has worked with the Le tour de lire organization which aims to reduce illiteracy and education gaps, working mostly in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district of Montreal.
