On Wednesday April 6th, Canadians will be raising their voices for democracy, free speech and transparency as part of a Day for Democracy taking place in cities all across Canada. In Montreal, icon of Canadian constitutional law, Julius Grey, will speak about the saga that has taken place at the organization named Rights & Democracy, and about how it illustrates the trend away from full respect for Canada's democratic principles over the past several years. Madame Suzanne Trépanier has accepted to receive formal recognition from the two coalitions for the outstanding work of her late husband, Rémy Beauregard, former President of Rights & Democracy.
