Dear Friends

Due to the very high response to the call-out for the General Assembly launching the Peoples' Social Forum, we have had to move the event to a bigger venue. Please note that the General Assembly will now be held at:  University of Ottawa, Faculty of Social Science Building, Hall FSS-2005, 120 University, Ottawa ON K1N 6N5.

We are also very pleased to announce that three of the founders of the IDLE NO MORE movement will be attending the General assembly. We have scheduled an address to the attendees by Jessica Gordon and Sheelah McLean at 1:30 pm on Saturday January 26th. Their address will be followed by a discussion on the ways and means of supporting this historic movement for Indigenous Peoples' rights that is sweeping the country.
