Montreal's Haitian Diaspora Day Event

4 April, 2013 – DP Consultants Inc. and its affiliates, including the Quebec Federation of Labour (FTQ), the FTQ Solidarity Fund, the CIDIHCA, Alternatives, and the Montreal Haitian Consulate are proud to be a part of Montreal's second edition of Haitian Diaspora Day. The event will take place Saturday, 20 April 2013, from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm, at the McCord Museum, 690 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal.

For Jean David Prophète, the event coordinator, the Haitian Diaspora in Montreal represents an important economic pillar for Haiti. More than 130 000 citizens of Haitian origin live in Quebec, and more than 90 000 live in Montreal.

It is, therefore, with great enthusiasm that we celebrate this National Diaspora Day in Montreal, and share together with Canadians and Quebecois our love for Haiti.
