Nothing is won in advance ... and to paraphrase Coluche, when is it that our utopias will win the elections ? Throughout all parties, where have the "society projects" gone ? Yet, on the side of social movements, there is no scarcity of dreams. An alternative political future inspired by collective hopes for change is at the crossroads of many of our struggles, be it the fight for equality, anti-racism, feminism, and the environment, not to forget the solidarity created both here and internationally. If instead of electoral vacuum and post-election spleen, we could have transformative dynamics ? On our own mobilization bases, we see that inaction is not a reasonable option. It's time to get in movement ! How can we ensure that the prioritized issues and demands arising from social movements and citizen initiatives resonate and have an impact on the definition of the government's?
Round table chaired by Amir Khadir
