Symposium: the reconstruction of Lebanon

The CEAD (Centre d’Études arabes pour le Développement) invites you to a symposium: The reconstruction of Lebanon.

Context:

The threat of renewed war is lurking behind every ruin. Rebuilding Lebanon is depriving war of the most dangerous of its bases.

Guests:

  • Bishop Gregory Hadad: President of the Lebanese Social Movement, the largest non-government Lebanese organization;
  • Mr. Kamal Hamdan: Professor of Economics at the Lebanese University, and economic advisor to the Lebanese government;
  • Mr. Nassib El-Husseini: political scientist and lecturer at the University of Quebec at Montreal.
