Centre Jacques-Cartier (Québec)

The Centre résidentiel et communautaire Jacques-Cartier was founded in 1992. It is a democratic living environment BY and FOR young people where, beyond the mutual help, each young person is invited to solidarity in the context of a more just and responsible society. Everyone is invited, with all its color, originality and ideas, to take his place in the community. Projects developed are based on the values of participatory democracy, equality, respect for people, sustainable development and social and environmental alternatives.

Specifically, members of the Centre Jacques-Cartier (CJC) consider their mission to support the social and professional integration of young adults aged from 16 to 35 years in hospitality services, training programs, updating of life plans, support and animation activities as well as 27 housings.
