One Thousandth Party

Wednesday, May 12, 2010 - 17:00 - Saturday, May 15, 2010 - 23:55

In order to mark the participation of one thousand interns of international solidarity within our organization, Alternatives is hosting a series of events from May 11th to 15th. The purpose is to emphasize the engagement and importance of interns during these exchanges. For 15 years, Alternatives has provided internships in collaboration with its international partners, in order to develop equal relationships between the South and the North.

For the One Thousandth Party, an evening of film screenings will take place in Montreal on May 13th. A conference devoted to the importance of international internships will also take place during this week, while a grand opening party will unfold at the Plaza theatre on Friday, May 15th. This event will allow former interns to reunite in a new celebratory setting. Meetings in Quebec City and Ottawa are also organized to celebrate solidarity for our interns.
