To prepare you for your internship, we will offer you training in :
- communication
- podcasting
- human rights
- graphic design
Of course, you will have access to information sessions to better understand the socio-political context of the countries as well as employability coaching.
To be eligible for the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP), the applicant must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Hold a post-secondary diploma or degree from a university, college, post-secondary school of technology, post-secondary institute or CEGEP (collège d’enseignement général et professionnel in Quebec).
- Be between 19 and 30 years old at the time of the final selection (i.e. at the time the intern signs the contract with Alternatives).
- Never participated in the YSIP.
