Alternatives has joined the Milton Parc Community Board of Directors. Leonard Buckles will represent Alternatives on the Board. As a co-owner of a property in the neighborhood, it is important for us to be involved in local issues. We also hope to join local and international initiatives. We see joint projects in the areas of urban gardening, inclusion of indigenous communities, social enterprise development, and the development of new social housing for vulnerable groups. Overall, we see ourselves working together to build social and community movements here and internationally.

Milton-Parc has one of the largest concentrations of housing co-ops in North America. To learn more about CMP, we offer a three-part podcast, each 7 to 9 minutes long.
