Jérémy has been working with Alternatives since January 2024.
Jérémy holds a Bachelor of Science degree (UQAM) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences (research profile, UQAM). From managing the website to moderating social media, while also participating in training interns on environmental issues, engaged communication, and digital commons, Jérémy is a jack of all trades at Alternatives, as in life. He has over 15 years of experience in the fields of science communication and outreach, ecology, and environmental sciences. He has been involved in the degrowth movement since the 2016 World Social Forum in Montreal and co-founded the organization Polémos Décroissance. He has worked in communications for the David Suzuki Foundation, as a scientific writer during four years for the Institut de recherche en santé publique de l’Université de Montréal, as a Wikimedian in residence for the Fondation Lionel-Groulx, and as a research assistant in social innovation at HEC Montréal.
He is also an amateur photographer and a wikimedian.
