Strengthening the Economic and Social Rights of Women in the Textile Industry

Every year since 2015, youth from Quebec have traveled to Monastir to work with the FTDES team to produce documentaries and other communication tools, organize various trainings, and help set up a social insertion cooperative and other collective initiatives aimed to empower women victims of socioeconomic violence.

Through the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP), Canadian youth have the opportunity to work with our international partners to advance important issues such as women’s rights, self-determination of peoples, environmental protection, freedom of expression, the right to privacy, open access to digital technologies, and respect for human rights more generally.
